Gday Beer Lovers,
Just wanted to say a huge thanks for all you folks that came to our stand and sampled many of our Matso's beers. The show was a great success and our new head brewer Marcus Muller thoroughly enjoyed meeting Matso's fans over the 3 days.
Just to update you on the packaged beers, all 4 beers are now currently available from your favourite WA liquor outlet and if they aren't please tell them to call our perth agent Dave Mullen Wines on 9240 1644.
Bye for now, I'm off taking the kids fishing as the salmon are now on the bite here in Broome.

Hi Matsos Melbournites. Just a quick note to let you know that a shipment of Smokey Bishop, Mango Beer and Ginger Beer have just left Perth bound for Purvis Wine Cellars in Surrey Hills.
It should be on the shelves by mid next week, call 9888 6644 or head to 615 Whitehorse Road to get them while they last.

Gday Folks, please accept my apology for not blogging lately but have been busy trying to make more beer for ya. I'm pleased to announce that we'll be back to 100% brewing capacity by the start of June and have the full range available again from the brewery in Broome for all Eastern States online orders and from our WA wholesalers in Perth - Dave Mullen Wine Agency 9240 1644, HLW - 9331 2300 and ALM - 9455 9000.

Araluen's Fremantle Chilli Festival 2010

Gday Beer Lovers,
Firstly I'd like to wish you all a Merry Xmas & Happy New Year and hope you all had a great break from work & enjoyed plenty of Matso's beers over the festive season.
I've just come back to work myself after holidaying in Malaysia & Thailand with the family drinking plenty of Asian brewed Heineken, Tiger & Singha. After consuming a heap of that grog in the last fortnight it really makes you appreciate the great craft beers we have on offer here in Australia.
Anyway I'm just giving you crew the heads up that the Matso's crew will be down in Freo for the Chilli Festival on Sat 13th March (12 noon - 8pm) & Sun 14th March (10am - 5pm). We'll have our Ginger Beer, Mango Beer, Monsoonal Blonde & warming CHILLI Beer all ON TAP @ the Matso's tent, so please come on down and say hello. Keep in mindalso that Clancy's Fish Pub in Freo also has the Ginger & Mango Beer ON TAP for the Perth summer so drop in for a feed and quiet beer after the festival if you get a chance.

New Lunch & Dinner Menu & Curry is NOW AVAILABLE

Well it has finally happened, the boys in the kitchen have made some great changes to the lunch & dinner menu and Dipesh (Curry Chef) is back from India after a well deserved break.
A huge thanks to Chris Lane & the team for getting this up & running for the Broome Summer season.

Matso's Mango Beer NOW ON TAP @ The Hilton

Gday Beerlovers, long time no update but it has been that crazy time of year. Some great news with Chris Paulus from the Parmelia Hilton Hotel in Perth giving us the opportunity to give Perth locals a taste of our favourite Mango Beer.
As of tonight the Mango Beer will be on tap in the Adelphi Steakhouse & Bar in the Hilton complex.
A huge thanks to Chris and I hope to see you down there for a quiet beer soon.

Matso's Classic Car Run 2010

That's right folks it's official, we're cranking up the old classic car run again. My name is Michael Szeitz and I am pleased to announce the running of the 2010 Matsos Broome Brewery Classic Car Run.
The event will be held from Friday 4th June 2010(arriving Broome) to Sunday 13th June 2010(concluding in Kununurra). It will be bigger and better than past years with events including Broome Races, Lunch at Matsos, Cruising at Eco Beach and many other exciting adventures.
Expressions of interest are now being sought for this not to be missed event.
We have a maximum number of participants, so if you are interested please fill in the attached form and return it via email to manager@moonlightbaysuites.com.au by 30th November. If you have any friends that may be interested please forward me their email contact details.
Further details will be forwarded by the end of the year to assist with forward planning.

Club Marine Boat Show 2009

Sorry folks for getting back to Blog stuff. I had a great time down in Mandurah for the annual Mandurah Boat Show (Oct 9th, 10th & 11th October) matching Matso's Broome Brewery beers with cooking from Bart Beek and Broome's own Malcolm Douglas. Bart & Malcolm had a pizza cook off on stage, with Bart just getting over the line winning 4 out of the 6 shows.
Next door to the Club Marine cooking stage we had the pleasure of viewing Miss Universe Australia, Rachel Finch and having a laugh at Hodgy the barefoot fisherman.
I'd like to thank Peter Woods (event organiser) for inviting me down and look forward to coming along next year.

Oktoberfest 2009 @ Matso's

What a great Broome day (Sat Oct 17th)!!!! There was great weather (39 degrees) food, beer & LIVE entertainment from noon til late in the Matso's courtyard.
Congratulations to Chris Lane (venue manager) & the crew for putting on a huge gig and of course to Roland Bloch (head brewer) for producing a worthy FESTBIER for the annual celebration of Oktoberfest.
Roland produced a 5.8% amber ale style beer for the festivities and sold over 1400 litres of beer for the day, not bad for a bunch of thirsty Broome beer lovers hey???
Just waiting to get my camera back from Chris today and i'll load up some photo's from the day.
Thanks to everyone who came along on Saturday and made Matso's Oktoberfest a huge success once again.
